Who Is The Founder of Islam?
Allah is the founder of Islam. Allah (God) has made only one religion, which is Islam. Allah is the one true God who is worshipped by Muslims all around the world. Many people have a misconception that Prophet Muhammad PBUH is the founder of this religion but, it is not true at all. Prophet Muhammad PBUH is the last and final messenger of Allah (God) in Islam.
Before him, more than 1 Lakh 20 Thousand Prophets already came to earth to spread the religion of Allah, including Prophet Abraham, Prophet Moses and Prophet Jesus. It is quite obvious that a messenger cannot become the founder, if he has been sent by God to spread his religion. It is a common misconception among people.
Islam was not founded by Prophet Muhammad but, it was perfected at the time of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Allah (God) has chosen Islam as the only religion for us and here is the line from verse of the Quran.
This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin – then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. Quran Al-Ma’idah Verse 3. (Sahih International)

Adam is the first person created by Allah SWT (God). He is the first human being in the history of mankind to step on Earth. Adam AS is also the first Prophet in Islam. Creation of Adam in Quran
Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, “Be,” and he was. Quran (3:59) (Sahih International)
[So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, “Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration.” So the angels prostrated – all of them entirely. Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. Quran (38:71-77) (Sahih International)
Creation of Hawa (Eve) in Quran
O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah , through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer. Quran (4:1) (Sahih International)
Who is Jesus in Islam?
Jesus is one of the mightiest Prophet in Islam. No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believes in Jesus PBUH. For being a Muslim, it is mandatory to accept the existence of Jesus PBUH.
Every Muslim believes that Jesus PBUH cured people by the will of Allah (God). Every Muslim believes Jesus PBUH was born from mother Mary who was a virgin. In fact Allah (God) has revealed an entire chapter for honouring mother of Jesus PBUH in the Quran by the name of “Surah Maryam”.
Jesus declared, “I am truly a servant of Allah. He has destined me to be given the Scripture and to be a prophet. He has made me a blessing wherever I go, and bid me to establish prayer and give alms-tax as long as I live, and to be kind to my mother. He has not made me arrogant or defiant. Peace be upon me the day I was born, the day I die, and the day I will be raised back to life!” Quran (19:30-33)
That is Jesus, son of Mary. And this is a word of truth, about which they dispute. It is not for Allah to take a son! Glory be to Him. When He decrees a matter, He simply tells it, “Be!” And it is! Jesus also declared, “Surely Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him alone. This is the Straight Path.” Quran (19:34-36)
Who is Muhammad in Islam?
Muhammad is the last and final messenger of Allah (God) in Islam. He is the last prophet to born on Earth. Muhammad SAW is the mightiest, honourable and most respected prophet ever. Allah SWT chose him to reveal the final revelation (Quran) to whole mankind.
Before Prophet Muhammad PBUH, more than 1 Lakh 20 Thousand Prophets were sent on Earth, including Jesus PBUH by Allah (God). All the prophet’s came on Earth to spread the same message Tawheed (oneness of Allah). They all called people towards Allah SWT and to worship him alone. Not to make partners with him like idols.
The Prophet’s who were sent before Prophet Muhammad PBUH were only sent to warn the people/tribes of their time. On the other hand Allah (God) sent Prophet Muhammad PBUH as a mercy for all the mankind with the final message (Quran). In the Quran, Allah SWT has praised Prophet Muhammad SAW for his character.
By the grace of your Lord, you ‘O Prophet’ are not insane. You will certainly have a never-ending reward. And you are truly ‘a man’ of outstanding character. Quran (68:2-4)
Who is a Prophet in Islam?
In Islam, a prophet is someone who is sent and chosen by Allah (God) to deliver the teachings and message of his lord to the people. A prophet does not teach anything on it’s own will, he only teaches what his Lord (Allah) has commanded him to.
All the prophets including Abraham, Moses and Jesus, they all worshipped the same God (Allah). They all spread the same message to the tribes and people, to worship Allah alone. It is the only straight path.
Prophets could not perform miracles on their own. By the will of Allah (God) they were able to perform miracles. Prophet Moses AS parted the sea with his stick by the help of Allah (God). Prophet Nuh AS was able to save many lives from his giant arc (boat) by the help of Allah (God). Prophet Jesus PBUH was able to cure many blind people by the help of Allah (God).
So prophets are clearly the chosen servants of Allah. They are the messengers of Allah who came on Earth to spread the message of Allah, which is the oneness of Allah.
